Texas Diesel Company is 35 miles south of Durant, Oklahoma — about a 42-minute drive to our shop in Van Alstyne. Durant is the northernmost city in our regular service area, and we have a strong base of Oklahoma customers who make the drive south for full Ford / GM / Dodge factory diagnostic capability that’s harder to come by in southeastern Oklahoma.

Durant has its own diesel demand — Choctaw Nation operations, the regional agricultural and ranching base, the Lake Texoma recreational fleet, and Southeastern Oklahoma State University’s support fleet all generate steady work. What the area doesn’t have is a specialty diesel shop with all three platforms’ OEM factory diagnostic software in-house. The closest comparable specialty shops require either a longer drive into Oklahoma City or the drive south to us.

Getting to us from Durant
From central Durant, head south on US-75 through Calera and Colbert, across the Red River, then south through Denison and Sherman to Van Alstyne. Our shop is at 13765 US-75.
Drive time: approximately 42 minutes in normal traffic.
For longer drives, we offer rentals during repair so you can leave the truck overnight or for multi-day work without being stranded.
