Employment at Texas Diesel Company

Texas Diesel Company is hiring talented diesel technicians and shop staff who want to work on the trucks people in this part of Texas actually drive. Apply through the form below.

Texas Diesel Company is hiring. We’re looking for talented people who want to join a focused, growing diesel shop in North Texas — technicians, service writers, and shop support staff who take their work seriously and want to be part of a team that does it right.

Why work here

  • Diesel-focused environment — the bays run diesel every day (Power Stroke, Cummins, Duramax), plus 3/4-ton-and-up gas trucks (2500s / F-250 and up) that fit our tooling. No small cars, no compromise on the kind of work you came here to do.
  • OEM factory diagnostic capability — we have the same Ford, GM, and Dodge software the dealers run. You’re working with the right tools, not making do with generic OBD-II readers.
  • Steady, varied work — we cover the full range from routine maintenance to major engine rebuilds, DCR conversions, and custom builds. The work doesn’t get monotonous.
  • Direct customer contact — we work transparently with customers (written estimates, transparent communication, no upsell). Working in a shop that sells what people actually need is different from one that sells what hits a metric.
  • Established North Texas customer base — we serve Van Alstyne, Sherman, the broader Grayson County area, Collin County’s growth corridor, and southeastern Oklahoma. Steady demand, real relationships.

Positions we’re hiring for

We hire on a rolling basis based on shop needs. Current focus areas typically include:

  • Diesel technicians — entry-level through master tech, with experience or willingness to learn Ford Power Stroke, Cummins, and Duramax platforms
  • Service writers — customer-facing role coordinating between owners and shop floor
  • Shop support — parts management, inventory, scheduling

Apply even if you don’t see your exact role listed — we’d rather meet a strong candidate now and have the conversation than miss them.

How to apply

Fill out the application form below. We’ll review and reach out to qualified candidates for a conversation.

What we look at:
– Diesel-specific experience (preferred, not always required)
– Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
– Customer-service mindset (every role here is partly customer-facing)
– Cultural fit — we’re a tight team and personality matters
