Drive time 35MIN

Texas Diesel Company is 28 miles east of Aubrey — about a 35-minute drive to our shop in Van Alstyne. Aubrey sits in northern Denton County with a distinct local culture — strong equestrian community, working ranches and farms, and a residential base that’s grown steadily without losing its rural feel. The diesel pickup is the working vehicle of choice across the area, and we serve a regular base of Aubrey customers for both work-truck service and daily-driver maintenance.

Why Aubrey residents come to us

Aubrey doesn’t have a specialized diesel shop within easy local distance. The closest options are either the Denton-area specialty shops (often longer waits and longer drive when traffic is bad) or the bigger metroplex shops (typically the longest wait of all). We’re a 35-minute drive east via US-380 to US-75, and for most Aubrey customers it’s the easiest path to specialized diesel work.

The pattern we hear: an owner tried a closer general repair shop or a chain, the diagnosis didn’t hit the actual problem, and they ended up making the drive east to us for the real fix. Or — the equestrian community angle — the truck is mission-critical for hauling livestock or trailers, and there’s no time to take it somewhere where the diagnosis might miss.

Who we serve in Aubrey

  • Equestrian community — diesel pickups for hauling horse trailers and gooseneck rigs are central to the Aubrey area. We service the trucks that keep the haul going
  • Agriculture — farms across northern Denton County running diesel pickups and tractor support equipment
  • Ranching — cattle operations and the working trucks that support them
  • Residential development fleet — Aubrey’s continued growth supports a steady demand for construction work trucks
  • Daily-driver owners — Aubrey residents whose diesel is the primary household vehicle
  • Project truck enthusiasts — Aubrey has its share of diesel build owners

What we do

Full diesel repair and performance:

  • Engine work for Ford Power Stroke (6.0L, 6.4L, 6.7L, 7.3L), Cummins (5.9L, 6.7L), Duramax (LB7 through L5P)
  • Transmissions — rebuilds and upgrades for Ford, GM, and Dodge platforms
  • Performance hard-parts — fuel system upgrades, intake and filtration, hard parts (billet turbos, CP3 conversions, ARP studs). Tuning is a specialized domain we don’t do in-house — happy to point you to trusted tuners.
  • DCR conversions for 6.7L Power Stroke (DCR Conversion)
  • Custom worklift kits, wheels and tires, accessories including B&W and other towing-specific gear that matters for trailer haulers
  • Maintenance — full menu including the heavy-duty work that hauling-focused trucks need

For trailer-haulers specifically, we’ll spec brakes, suspension, and electrical to match what you’re pulling — not a one-size-fits-all package.

Why Aubrey owners make the drive

  • Diesel-only specialization — every tech, every day
  • Ford / GM / Dodge factory diagnostic software in-house
  • Written estimates before any work begins — we walk through the diagnosis and keep you in the loop through the repair
  • $215 shop rate, posted and consistent
  • Warranty on parts
  • Honest scoping — we recommend what your truck needs, not what we want to sell
  • Working knowledge of hauling rigs — gooseneck and fifth-wheel setups are routine for us
